Hyatt Hotel on Main Street

The Hyatt hotel began construction in 2021 and will be completed in 2023.

The hotel will be Main Street’s tallest building at 7 stories and will include 104 hotel rooms.

Behind the hotel, there will be a 7 story, 48 unit residential building.

On this project we partnered with GGA Construction, Karins & Associates (site engineer), Dever Architect (architect), Baker, Ingram and Associates (structural engineer), and TKo Hospitality Group.

Creek View Complex: 

Three new buildings will be built on Creek View Road, including a restaurant, theater and commercial office building.

The 4,800 square foot restaurant space will feature an outdoor dining patio with views of White Clay Creek.

The brand new theater facility will be the new home to Chapel Street Players.  The new facility with provide CSP with a new location just north of their current location on North Chapel Street, and also allow for their patrons to have access to free on-site parking.

The new office building will be a 3-story, 31,000 SF office space.

In addition to new buildings, 500 Creek View will be remodeled into a residential building that will feature 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. This building will also feature tenant amenities such as, a fitness center, community rooms/coffee bars, a rooftop patio, outdoor deck, and a sports court.

318 South College Avenue: 

We have received approval from the City of Newark City Council to move forward with our project at 318 South College Avenue. We plan to transform the space and bring it back to life by restoring the front of the building to match its original structure. The rear portion of the building will be reconstructed into a modern medical office.

Twin Lakes: 

The Twin Lakes project has been approved by the City and is expected to begin construction in 2022.

This addition to Twin Lakes will include 24 townhome style, garden apartments.

On this project we partnered with Karins & Associates (site engineer), Breckstone (architect), and Baker, Ingram and Associates (structural engineer).

25 North Chapel Street: 

City Council unanimously approved our project at 25 North Chapel.

We are building a four story, 8,100 square foot building. The first floor will include a parking garage and lobby, and the three upper floors will include a total of 21 two-bedroom apartments. The project includes a 10 space parking waiver, which was approved by the Planning Commission.

The proposed apartment building will replace the Chapel Street Playhouse and a duplex next to it. The project will operate as part of a land swap that will allow the Chapel Street Players to move to a new building on Creek View Road with increased seating capacity, handicap accessibility, and more parking.

532 Old Barksdale Road: 

The City of Newark Planning Commission unanimously voted to recommend that City Council approve our project at 532 Old Barksdale Road.

We are proposing a five story mixed use building. The first floor will include parking while the second through fifth floors will include 54 two-bedroom apartments.

30 South Chapel Street: 

In June 2022, the City of Newark Planning Commission voted 4-0 to recommend that the City Council approve our project at 30 South Chapel.

We are proposing a seven story building on the southern half of the 1.35 acre property on 30 South Chapel Street. The first floor of the building will contain parking, a lobby and commercial retail space. The other six floors will contain a total of 65 two bedroom apartments.
